Description

Several apartments with no clear destination. One couple. One goal.

Several apartments that can be sold, rented or lived in by the owners.

An adventurous couple - he, American, psychologist and painter; she, Dutch and designer - moved to Portugal and decided to give shape to their desire to create a small, sunny, urban and artistic refuge. Rua do Almada, in the center of Porto, was the chosen location.

One goal: to create a small community, a supportive neighborhood, a space for cooperation and mutual help within the condominium.

Each apartment has been designed and developed to be adaptable and evolve naturally with its inhabitants.

The clients had clear ideas of what they wanted and so the co-creative process flowed openly. They were keen to use solid wood and, wherever possible, this was achieved. The details were carefully thought out and the combination of ethnic pieces created an intercultural dialog. The result reflects the profile and life experience of the owners, but also the principles that Boa Safra stands for - a natural, minimal and timeless aesthetic.
