Obu is inspired by the philosophy and aesthetics of Japanese gardens. The position of each stone and tree has been perfectly thought out, but at the same time seems to have been placed at random. The shape of the reflective part represents a rock and the transparent glass represents water, both key elements in a Japanese garden. The organic silhouette is strong and pronounced, while the glass is almost invisible, but absolutely essential and accentuated by two golden lines. It's a delicate and elegant balance between function and beauty. A discreet non-slip strip holds the mirror perfectly against a wall, or it can be hung up.
