Tangent

The tangent table lamp emerged from an experimental study of tubes and proportions and how they can be joined together. A clean graphic design where two steel tubes meet at their tangential point of contact. The small tube provides space for the electrical part, while the large tube functions as a lampshade. On top of the inner metal tube is a shade made of opal glass that covers the lamp creating a soft light when switched on and a visual effect of a cylindrical tube when switched off.
